Family Day in Pelion

Bringing the family to Pelion?  hiking is on the table! Let us design a day that perfectly balances a few hours of light walking with a delicious meal at a local taverna or a relaxing beach picnic.

Here are 2  sample itineraries to give you an idea, though we can easily customize a route based on your location, transportation, and family routine. 

Option 1: The Valley & Villages Loop

A scenic walk down into the valley below Vizitsa and Milies that follows the historic railway into Milies for a light refreshment, before heading back up for a Lunch at the picturesque village Vizitsa. Expect rewarding views, lush forest, seasonal streams, classic kalderimi (cobblestone paths), and village squares shaded by massive plane trees.

Option 2: The One-Way Explorer

A variation of the full  loop . Instead of walking back uphill after lunch, we’ll arrange a quick pickup so you can relax and head back at your own pace.

Bonus Option: You can easily combine this walk with a ride on the historic Train of Pelion—either taking the train up to Milies in the morning, or hiking down first and taking the afternoon train ride.!
